purchasing additional loops / samples

Post by Nick G »

Hi,

please see link below:
http://www.producerloops.com/Download-Producer-Loops-Pr...

if i purchase them in WAV format does this mean i can simply load them into my Fantom G and use them as patches?

if not - is there any other voice bank i can purchase that is on this site that will work with my fantom G other than the ones that are on this website?

You can purchase any sound library in .wav or .aif format, only make sure it's 44.1 kHz and 16 bit format. However, when you import the samples, note that you will have to build patches yourself. It's not so hard with loops and one-shot samples, but with multi samples instruments it's a time-consuming process (and there may be compatibility issues).

Note that apart from samples there can be simply patches that use the Fantom-G's synhtesizer engine to create new sounds. You can download such sounds in our library free of charge.

Also, no, for now the is no other company than Sinevibes which offers readily-made sounds for the Fantom-G. The advantage of Sinevibes packages is they are created specifically for the Fantom-G, taking advantage of it's sound engine, and you just can load and use them instantly.

BTW do you need something that the Sinevibes titles do not offer? What kind of sounds are you looking for?

thanks for the info.

i am specifically looking for the lead sound from Faithless - insomnia
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tBrUjvONIrA

also this voice at 0:50
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO05NftxXgc

I have spent numerous hours trying to get close to it using the Techno pizz patch and mixing with over WAVs in the FG but cant get what i want.

the motif XS has a voice called "Trance attack" which is basically what i am after.

also looking for some trance / dance hook voices that work very well with the cut off filter. (very mellow and bassy with low cut) and then turns very sharp and punch at high cut.

a lot of the trance/synth patches are quite tinny and metallic sounding (octaves below the middle C)

i have tried the trance library from this site and nothing there comes close to what i am after.

The Insomnia pizzicato sound, and the one in the second video, is a pretty clean version of the "Pizz" waveform in Roland JV and XP series - I can email you this sample if you want.
i have tried the trance library from this site

Could you please tell me which one exactly?

yes please can u email me this sample?
"itsnickg@hotmail.com"

i have purchased the "Synth" Library - 100 patches.
i think it is more towards single saw lead type voices in this pack.

if there are any other free samples u can send me from previous Roland keyboards that would be highly appreciated!!

thanks

Received your e-mail, however, I cannot seem to find that sample... I remember I recorded a few classics from my XP-80 when I was selling it, but I don't remember where they are... maybe I deleted them :-/
