new patches from 1.50 disappear when I create a new project

I just upgraded to 1.50 and noticed that all of the new user patches go bye-bye (like Sweetest Strings) when I create a new project. Can I not use those patches for new projects? I don't recall this happening after the last update.
Help!
Thanks!!!

Just use the new "File Management" function to copy the new sounds into your new project's sounds folder.

As you say, they are USER patches. So they are initialized when you make a NEW project.

Okay. I copied the fangsnd.svd file from the internal project to my new poject's SND folder. It worked! Hooray! Is that all I need to do? Why didn't Roland make it always default to the new set of patches do you think?
Thanks!

Hey mad8d how did you copy the sound from project to project? did you use a separate software for this or you jsut copied from the project folders?

In order to copy patches that need no user samples, there are two ways to do this:
1. If you want some sounds to be copied from project to project, use the Fantom-G Librarian utility from your computer.
2. If you want to copy all the sounds from project to project, then use the File Management utility from within Fantom-G's OS to copy the file named fangsnd.svd.
If you want to copy sounds that use user samples, you have to use some kind of separate software. The only software that's capable of doing this is Nexoe Audio Solutions Fantom Yase, which can be found
here.

I used the file utility on the G8 to copy. I also discovered you can also turn on the keyboard with the internal project and then do file, save as and rename the project to your USB card. Then you don't have to go digging through folders to find the snd file. I still don't understand why Roland didn't make all of the new patches magically appear with any new project you create. They did the last time they gave us new patches. Calling them USER patches is weird as I'm the user, not them. Their patches should be the internal standard patches. Hmmm....
