Announcement: New Version 1.50

We are pleased to announce version 1.50 for the Fantom-G series workstations. Version 1.50 incorporates the new FG Connects Live data, plus a new file utility function so you can copy data between different projects. Note: When updating to Version 1.50 it is important to perform a factory reset -- this will bring forth all the new FG Connects Live data, plus prior version 1.30 data. Is it worth upgrading if one does not need the file utility nor is interested by the new content ? In other words, does 1.50 correct bugs or will be necessary for further developments ?

no os updates apart from the file utility which is useful. should of been called OS 131.5 8) the fg connects live stuff is great..... however it is content and not os improvements.

Please….Give them a breather….consider the insane amount of extremely hard work Roland put into this.

I understand how they made the sounds, RPS motion phrases, Live Sets, rhythm patterns, arpeggiation phrases etc. And you guys might understand it as well.

The amount of work that went into this is staggering!!! On top of that they made audio, video and written tutorials. They took this very, Very seriously…

And I honestly believe that it is the best expansion I have seen for a workstation. And it was 100% free…highlight that kind of stuff if you feel it‘s true.

I understand and respect that you guys have concerns out side of this Awesome update.

But this is the time to tell them what you think about the FG Connects Live Project. This update was made to support the FG Connects Live Project…

Remember, if there are facts to prove that a large number of their customers like this then they have reason to consider it a valuable asset. That means a whole lot more then what it sounds like.

But for now I believe that FG Connects Live deserves a bit more attention then the stuff we talked about in the past. There will be time to talk about the next update soon.

And, their will most likely be another update….but be smart about your timing here.

consider the insane amount of extremely hard work Roland put into this.... that's indeed what wurries me.All this content can be done by the FantomG owners theirself, Changing OS SW is not to our (atleast not to mine) capablities.

A good OS would bring the Fantom G already to a higher respectable level, even without this connects.
