Midi in to G from Yamaha Dtxplorer electronic Drum set

Hi all, I just got the DT xplorer electronic Drum set and when I hooked the midi up to the G everything worked but the snare drum. How can I change the snare drum note on the G. I will also explore how to change the midi send fromthe DT xplorer. I hope that there will be a way, I would hope that I would not have to record the snare drum by hand. dusty

I have looked into this problem more and it's looking like the DTxplorer does not transmit GM midi out of it's out. Now I would think that Yamaha would have at least done this as a standard. GM has been around for a long while. So I think I need to get something that will do this between the DTxplorer and the G. Any ideas?
