Important Sampling Question, help please...

Heyy guys, i just bought a Fantom G6 and I tried sampling, it works fine. Im just curious after you sample something how do i transpose that sample to a different key and how do i make the tempo go faster or slower? I tried changing these on the edit sample screen but when i play the sample again it still sounds the same. please help me out guys,

Go to the patch editor, and in the "util menu", initialize it, then go to the "Wave" tab and assign your sample to one of the tones there. Then you will be able to play it from the keyboard and thus change it's speed/pitch. If you want to sync it to the tempo, go to the sample list, then to the sample parameter screen, and set it's tempo with the beat calculator. Then, in the patch editor, in the "Wave" tab, turn on tempo sync.

Okay, so I recorded my audio sample from my ipod in studio mode, and then i press F4 to edit sample then
i press the "patch" button then I press F4 utilize Menu, then it shows me.
Patch Initialize
Tone Initialize
Tone Copy
Multisample Edit

then i click multisample. from here im not to shure what to do to change the key(pitch) of the sample so i can assign it in one of the tracks in studio mode and add more instruments to the project. then after that i can just press play and everything should play including the sample and my added instruments all in the same key(pitch). if you can help me again Artemiy that would be awesome.

You do not need to do anything on the multisample level, since you're working with a single sample. Just assign it as a wave for tone #1, and that's it.

OKay got it, one more question everytime a hit a key for it to play the sample in a different pitch, the sample only lasts like 10secs then its slowly fades out even though the sample isnt dont playing yet. do you know why?

Go to the TVA envelope tab, and make sure that the envelope sustain (level 3 parameter) is set to maximum (127).

Hey Artemiy
I have another question. please help me out.
I recorded one of my samples in studio mode and when i save it and turned it off and turn it on again. its still there like the name of the project and everything. but when i hit the play button. all you hear is a grand piano playing not the recorded sample and the other instruments i added in studio mode. So i was wondering how would i save like 5 different songs with different samples and added instruments in each song, so that when i turn it off and on, its still there. all i have to do is just choose from a list the song i want to hear. and when i hit play all the instruments and samples are still there? and then when i want to change songs i can go back to the list and choose the other song and the instruments for that other song will be played
