Salutare ,sunt Gabriel si am luat si eu de curand un G8.
Toate bune si frumoase pana am incercat sa-l utilizez in midi cu Cubase 4,13 sau cu Sonar 8 .
Are semnal midi doar in modul LIFE , DAR...
Multitimbral nu merge, arpegiatorul sau chord memory nu merg nici ele ,o serie intreaga de facilitati nu sunt functionale cu multitrack'ul extern din PC.
Nu stiu eu sa-l setez sau ....chiar nu merge decat cu softul intern in toate variantele descrise mai sus ????????????????????????????

Well Art, aahmmm... this time you could be useful -)) I don't work with midi or with the FG conected to the computer so perhaps you could give the guy a few hints. He wants to know how can he use the FG with the Cubase or Sonar in Studio mode ( says that there's nothing midi - happening in Studio Mode, that the arpegiattor and the chord memory are not working also and a whole bunch of facilities are not functionable with the external multi-tracking). Like I said I don't work that way and I never made any kind of setup for this kind of activity. Now... as far as I know... you and your laptop continue to live in peace for a long time

i have worked with the FG connected to the computer sebelius to be specific and what i noticed and was upset about is that it only transmits what you play on the keyboard. any notes played by cord memory or arpeggiattor will not be transmitted

I tried this in live with the keyboard split up and wanted to capture different instruments but couldn't

Bass , maybe it's something you did on the system setup...
Maybe the arpegiator is set to external but you didn't send the midi clock thru midi from cubase (click on sync with ctrl on, or go to sync settings).
