Hi there
I'm syncing my G7 with logic for live use. (I need Arps and Lfos to be in tempo).
It works fine (the tempo is definetly right:-)), BUT is there a way to sync with the actual beat?
right now when I hit key the arpegiator plays the exact same tempo as logic but I need to hit the key exactly on the beat. Is it possible to make the arpeggitor follow the clock so that the arpeggitor will be in sync even if im playing slightly before/after the beat?
Thank you

Re: Midi- Sync
You need to be in song mode, song playing in loop, and arp set to trigger at measure or beat.
So, in addition to midi sync, you also need sequencer control sent from Logic. Put some empty measures in Logic and loop it.

sync to midi clock
you could sync both your sequencer and arpegiator to the same midiclock.
I use the free midiclock utility for it, to send a clock signal internally (through virtual midi yoke driver) and simultaneously on my external midi bus (emu 1x1) to my roland gear.
You can download it here : http://www.midiclock.com/.
This way i sync the whole setup to tap tempo
hope this helps
