I think that this issue has been discussed many times already.
You can find more info, opinions, guesses etc, here:

Only some Roland officials and the R&D department from Roland knows something. But we would have to torcher them badly before they would say anything about it.... :-)

Conclusion: just wait and let them suprise you.....

The answer to your questions is 'Yes', although Roland is very secretive about these things. If they weren't, I wouldn't even have a job!! (The only reason I got this one is thanks to Uncle Hidekazu Tanaka!)

All that I can tell you at this time is the the next ARX board will be the fourth in a series of boards that will potentially enhance the features of the 'G' series keyboards! This board will be released sometime in the future and will have an ARX-04 model tag. There! I've said too much already! (According to the offiicial secret Roland agent manual.)

As to whether or not there is a way to guess when the next OS will be released, the answer is quite simple . . . Just choose a date sometime in the future and cross your fingers. (or any other part of the anatomy that you deem neccessary.)

Are you serious? strings? that's the best news I could hope to.
I almost purchase strings sounds but now that I know it's going to be strings I'll have something to wait for.
thanks a lot!

It is just an estimate. Go to : http://www.rolandus.com/products/produc ... arentId=79 And listen to the demos of the Atelier organ. There are some "supernatural" string demos there. Articulation Cello and Articulation Violin.

It hardly seems worth losing sleep over. These things tend to get announced at trade shows and suchlike.
