Rhythm kit question

Please tell me what I am doing wrong.

I am trying to beef up a rhythm kit by adding a sample. According to the manual, you can use samples in rhythm kits. However, when I select the waveform, i get nothing but internal AND I have to back out of the patch because it freezes that part or puts all dashes in the waveform name and I can't change it at all. Is this something broken in the G?

When it freezes click on enter while the little dash is highlighted, then a little box comes up, toggle down to sample and enter again. I think if i can remember, that's how i got it to work...

Position your cursor over INT, then press ENTER and you can toggle to Sample.

Thanks Dan. That seems kinda goofy that you cant inc/dec when the cursor is highlighted, but at least that works.
