Hi Guys,

I am using my g as the audio card in Logic and I would like to know if there is somehow a way to not only hear the fantom's sounds but also the output of a vst/au through my fantom?

Anyone?

Cheers,

ens

Just select Fantom-G as the main output in Logic.

Good news Art. that at least it is possible.

What I did is Preferences-> Audio -> device Roland Fantom.

This should do the job does'nt it?

I do use the phones output of the Fantom to listen to the audio, tha's not strange is it:)?

I do see the audio signal from the vst in the channel strip but I can't hear it!

Make sure the project in Logic is set to 24 bit 44.1 KHz - that's the format the G accepts. Also, try setting it as a default output in System Preferences -> Sound.

Project settings audio tab sample rate is set to 44.1kHz
Preferenences, audi, core audio, 24 bit recording is activated .
And again is do see audio is coming out of the vst/au.

BUT no sound from my headphones connected to my fantom:(((

man, I want my funky Ultrabeat riddims through my Fantom badly!:)

Anyway, i feel my solution is coming in the coming hours, days.

Cheers,

Tomorrow, when you get a feedback loop when recording and write the forum asking about it, the answer to your question is: 'set the input routing to output B.'

Best wishes,
