Fantom G Demosong - MP3

Hey all,
the german keyboard magazin offers two Fantom G Demosongs (I think these are the internal Demosongs which I also heard at the german music fair) as a download.

Do the following:

1.) http://www1.keyboards.de/zugriff.php?ID=998&load=1
2.) Type in: dMmeisw5321 and click on "weiter"
3.) Save target as... an the rest you know

Finally the first real mp3!

And wow, what a fine sound!!!

This is definitely a step beyond FantomX sound quality!
Now I will no longer have any regrets about selling my X (and I liked my X!). This is the first time I'm really getting hot for the G, this time not only checking specs. By now I know that I won't only get very welcome new functions, but a real cool sounding device!

P.S.
Once more G news happen anywhere faster than on "Fantom G Experience"...

terrible, like I'd be listening same demo from old fantom X...

Something tells me that sound wise not much will change with fantom G.

wot an awful song 8-( it was sending me to sleep, BUT I hasten to add I can hear the quality, very nice and was I mistaken but did I hear a solo with Oscillator Sync in it?!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Yeah Baby bring it on.

I think maybe the work flow will be different but i cant say the production level will be any better that what can be achieved on the
X.

I've never heard a stock demo that strongly represented a product's capabilities, much less sounded like a record.

The BR-8 had a demo that sounded as if a John Hughes movie prom band were deaf.

The G's demo isn't offensive in the slightest, but I'm so over those disjointed, generic R&B vocal samples. But considering hip hop dudes are the primary market for workstations these days, I understand why Roland went this way.

Maybe the end result will be close to the same when mixed down to 44khz but when played live I think the G will sound better.

exactly, this will be exact fantom X with SRX cards dressed with nicer interface with a mouse...

For song choice I like the fist one. The second one is far to common of a sound for workstations.

I hated the demo songs!

If the X or the G sounded this badly, I would get rid of both.

I recognized the SRX-12 Phaser Rhodes. That was the the only patch I liked, really.
The strings sounded less real than the X or SRX.
This must be a bad quality recording or something.
