The Roland Japan G NOTHING experience
Re: The Roland Japan G NOTHING experience
Yesterday it rained here in Kharkov. Guys I really want your opinion on this!!!

Jim
From a moderator team of 10, as I know, only me, piaknowguy and Art have the Fantom-G. Why is it so hard to take that these 3 users are happy with it? Would you be more satisfied if any of us start repeating what others have already said?
BTW
I had previously stated in this very thread that I was not expecting for an update in Frankfurt. Don't expect me to comment my comment, please

Re: The Roland Japan G NOTHING experience
Just like version 2.0 was slow to come for V-Synth GT,
I suspect the G 2.0 may be slow to arrive...
Chances are, it will eventually arrive...
I am glad I did not get the GT until after 2.0, however...
The G is my main keyboard...none better out there for what I currently do "Live". I hope we get the new OS before I start doing a lot of sequencing again...For live it is giving me all I need...OK...I do have to add the VK-8M for realistic B3...

I don't understand why people are so eager to get a comment from Art and/or anyone else of the Roland Clan team. It seems all you want is to get a chance to strengthen your argument.
I don't think ANYONE is happy with today's development (or lack of...) in Frankfurt, including Clan moderators. But, once again, leave it (or contact Roland. You won't get an update in here).

About that rain thing: Everyone can be as sarcastic as they want.
The impressions they give are obvious.
As far as I'm concerned, this is the same official attitude I'd expect from the Roland corp staff.
p.s.: I knew it was so foolish of me to expect that even a single moderator in here would accuse or criticize Roland for the lack of support for the Fantom-G, I just wanted to make it sure once again. I's obvious that Roland people are monitoring the forum, so everyone is very cautious of what they write. And especially when this product is something they make money from.
I asked for certain people's opinions. Be sure guys that even if you didn't write your opinion, choosing to hide once more, in a way you expressed it very well.
YOUR OPINION IS TAKEN TO ACCOUNT, LOUD AND CLEAR.

Cyclops! You are obviously not asking us for our opinion!! You are asking us to think what you think! The 'G' is an amazing keyboard that is doing what I want it to do! I'm sorry that you do not feel the same.p.s.: I knew it was so foolish of me to expect that even a single moderator in here would accuse or criticize Roland for the lack of support for the Fantom-G, I just wanted to make it sure once again.
Art? Am I missing something? Where is my check? I hope it's in the mail! =)I's obvious that Roland people are monitoring the forum, so everyone is very cautious of what they write. And especially when this product is something they make money from.

I feel sad for you. Fortunately, the world does not live entierly on conspiracys, wars, murder and starving. Some good things are plain simple: I love the G. I won't talk bad about it for the self pleasure of someone.

V-CeeOh: I'm glad that you eventually said your opinion, even if you did so by insulting me (you did that by saying you feel sad for me). Anyway, it's what I wanted to read, someone's opinion.
So, to summarize this:
piaknowguy and V-CeeOh like the Fantom-G as it is. I'm glad you do. But it seems that there are many people here that don't feel the same. That's the truth. So you can go on attacking and insulting those that don't agree with you, which is the same thing you accuse me of.
I think everyone must be happy now.
I can see that the posts that are addressed personally to me are increasing, using sarcasm and ironic comments, most of them being written by "non-regular" users. Are there any other moderators who care for an attack in person? Please, feel free to do so.

beeing "sad for someone" is not insulting someone, at least as I translate it. There must be some translation difference here. If you think I was trying to do so, please excuse me, that's not what I meant.

Re: The Roland Japan G NOTHING experience
V-CeeOh: it's ok then. I must confused this with the phrase "I feel sorry for you", which is clearly an insult. This is not what you said.

I think that - as always - I'm once more misunderstood.
Do I have to swear that I also LOVE THE FANTOM-G?
Everything I say comes from the fact that Roland treats very bad a wonderful product. Can anyone imagine what the Fantom-G would be like if it was treated like it deserves?
Even if some people don't care or don't want to admit it, the Fantom-G is an UNFINISHED PRODUCT, period. This is the problem for us "whiners".

"I feel sorry for you" also does not translate as an insult for me
I'm not an English native so maybe someone can confirm this. Anyway I'll try to make sure I wont use that phrase when I'm talking to you

Re: The Roland Japan G NOTHING experience
I didn't expect anything at this even G related.
So I got what I expected today.. Hurray!!
I can now cheerfully go back to making music, while others start coming down from that high expectation from roland.
Of course they will try to pick them selfs up and start quoting Summer Namm 09 and we start all over again...
(been there done that)
How many times do we need to repeat our selfs..
Does`nt anyone get it..
Use it or loose it
If it dont fit the bill sell it to someone and get something else..
Stop waiting...
