misuspita: I totally agree on (3) and (4).
The sound delay parameter exists in every single patch. There is even a dedicated setting for each tone, so in Live mode this could be done by adding another offset in the "Part View->Offsets" tab.
As for the double PFX algorithms, not only AMP+Leslie, but also Guitar Amp+Wah and many many other things could be added as well. After all, there are already lots of double FX in there, like Distortion+Delay, Distortion+Flanger and so on, so there is really no reason why this could not be implemented.

We've already pointed these things out. The first issue, concerning the losing of edited Live set has to do with edit buffers. The same thing happens in the other two modes, Studio and Single. Simply there are not enough edit buffers that will hold our edited patches when we go back and forth between modes.
The returning to Single patch #1 has been answered by Roland and the explanation was that many newbie users asked Roland that the Fantom-G goes into patch #1 so that they wouldn't select every time their piano sound. A rather foolish thing to do IMO, but it's nothing that can't be fixed. It's better that a beast like this provides solutions for pro users as well, not only newbies.

I've got G6 since a month and I think it's a really great keyboard. Sometimes for studio recording I use it with an arranger keyboard connected by midi an in this area new OS might be updated:
1) there should possibility to set note range midi filter for notes received from external device. I thought that keyboard range would do the same but this affects only notes from keyboard - by midi you can send sounding notes outside of this range.
2) possiblity to dissolve (name from cubase) phrase into multiple phrases each for only one midi channel
3) possibility to limit recording into phrase only in one channel - it can be set by setting RX check only in one part but it is very inconvinient (uncheck in 15 parts) - better if it was in recording dialog as temporary setting only for current recording
4) recording in mode "Wait for note" seems to be not working - starts immediately not waiting for a note
5) if G is sync clock source it transmits tempo very seldom - it seems that only when song is started - it should send after every manual change of tempo

and another question about aftertouch - it is rather too hard even for sesivity 100 - it should possible to configure it more sensivite. I'm afraid that may stand will not stand such pressure one day.

Sequencer should record note off data performance from pads while in RPS mode.

Hey, a new OS upgrade? Great! Is there a monitor routing option yet? (So that skipback sampling "hears" only the current "hot" audio recording track, and not all previously recorded audio tracks as well.)

EDIT: Well, I just downloaded and upgraded my G8 firmware to 1.30. The G8 audio track mixer's "output assign" screen in 1.30 appears unchanged, showing available assignable outputs as only: 'A,' 'B,' "FX1,' and 'FX2.' Still, with no "MON" (monitor) assignable output option (which was present in the Fantom-X).

This was a terrifically valuable feature in the Fantom-X. Routing your output to "MON" allowed you to still hear all of your prerecorded tracks while you could perform infinite "pseudo punch-ins," using the skipback sampling feature (which would only "hear" the current "hot" recording track). And since I record all my electric guitar leads using real guitars into my G8 (amp->cabinet->mic->preamp->line switcher->G8 line input), this was an incredible tool to be able to get that perfect lead run without any "pressure."

This is literally my ONLY gripe with the G8 OS! I never use MIDI and don't perform live. For me, it's all about the Fantom's awesomely user-friendly audio tracks recorder. Thanks for all the other goodies and improvements in 1.30., and for the ultra-cool Connects stuff in 1.20, but please consider putting the "MON" output assign option in again someday! I really love my G8, and think it's hands-down, the BEST synth workstation on the market. Yes, I have Logic, and a pile of other synths and rack gear, but the G8 is my MAIN DEAL for writing, recording and getting ideas down. This ONE feature-add would make it heaven. Thank you!

Hello,
I'm playing lots of coversongs in the band and I use only the G7, because I can do almost everything with that machine. The only problem is that I have not all chords in my mind. So at the moment, I create for every gig a special favorite program and write the chords in the different banks. Thats a lot of work for every gig to put all songs in one bank in the right positions.

It would be helpful if I could write to each song in the favorites the chords, so if I press i.e. F1 for song 1, I also get the chords, lyrics or descrpition to this song, if I press F2, song 2 will come with chords, etc.

That would be perfect, because I use this key only in live mode for gigs.

misuspita:
As for the dual effectors, I think it would be great to add more of them. I know that for the sake of seamless switching they made this poor choice of single-effect-per-patch, but rarely I use more than 4 patches per liveset and so the G has more than 10 effectors standing unused at any-one time (the studio mode it's another story).
I wouldn't ever want to lose the seamless swithcing in any way. That's why I believe that a workaround could be implemented for this one, and I mean the use of dual (or even triple) FX algorithms, like the ones that already exist in the end of the FX list (e.g. Distortion/Delay, Flanger/Delay and so on). Some more algorithms could be added, like Amp/Leslie (for organs), GuitarAmp/Wah (for guitars) and so on.
