Fantom G8 freezes at 98% on start-up HELP!!!

I'm stressing out because my g8 is freezing up at 98% on start up. I tried powering up and pushing the exit button at the same time, but had no luck. First time this has ever happened to me. Please someone, help me. I tryed talking to Roland but they couldn't help me. I'm freaking out. Any advise will be much obliged.

Check your "Sync/Tempo". Needs to be "Off" I had the same thing happento my G7. I got could responses feom the forum to assist with setting things back to normal. Copy/paste "G7 has frozen at 70% of initial load" into the advanced search function to sese those posts.

if your using a usb flash on boot then remove it..
if you are not then insert a flash drive containing a project or empty folder project and then boot from it.
then you can do a factory reset.

@ rolham, I viewed your original post prior to posting my own. The thing is, I can't even do a reset by holding down the ''exit'' botton at start-up. It doesn't do anything. I noticed that it works for a G7 but maybe not a G8. I'm sadend because I had to miss a show I was suppost to do this weekend. And probably this comming weekend as well.

@ Quinnx, How do I reboot using a blank USB? Can you provide a walk threw?

Take any usb flash drive to your computer and
create an empty folder called FantomG.Prj
for this purpose make sure its the only thing on the drive
place it in the fantom USB port and power up
the fantom should see this first and boot from it
also make sure it has a FAT file system or is one used by the fantom once before.

Thank you for your help and advice. I tried everything you suggested, but it didn't work. I may just have to take it in :( Thanx again!!! I will keep this post up to date on what the problem was, for any other G8 users.... TO BE CONTINUED.......

one other thing to try that could just work
download and install the latest firmware even if you allready have the latest
do it anyway i seem to remember doing this for a similar reason and it worked.
Let me know how it turns out..

I'm Back!!!! A speacial thanks to Roger, from Fantom inc. Great costomer Service.A+++ Also to Quinnx, for your wonderful advice. Here is the solution: Copieid and pasted from Roger.

"OK, here is the boot file. When you unzip this there should be 2 files:

FantomGINI.bin
Readme


This is pretty straightforward - you can see on the Readme file that there are just 3 steps (you can skip the last item). Our tech said that usually the Fantom-G is getting stuck trying to load a bad file, which is usually a bad sample, so you may want to first try to write down the file name that is displayed when the Fantom-G hangs up. You can then delete this file from the project when you get the unit up and running again."

Thanks its works,. But
, upon powering up my G6 started already on a white screen. The pads are loading, it has sounds. but the only problem is the screen. Its just plain white.
