Powering external controller to the usb port
I'm just curious guys, I'm powering my a800 pro controller to the mouse usb port of my fantom g6. Is it ok to use this? Will it affect the fantom in the longer use vice versa with the controller also? For sure some of the members here is using this method. I'm just concern in the future of my fantom. Thanks guys!

You know that's actually a pretty good idea. I'm thinking the only problem is that maybe a mouse icon could show up on screen and annoy you?
If you want to be sure that it doesn't hurt your fantom though, I'd purchase a cheap usb wall charger. They sell them at electronics stores for under $10. I use one meant for a cell phone with my Alesis QX 49 and have had no problems.
