G6 vs. G8. Do they use different patches?

Hey, not posted in a while. Throughout the years I've been very happy with my G6, but am really wanting an expansion to a G8. I have seen in a G8 video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... ZpIng-Zjog ) that there are so many patches on the display that I've seen throughout the video which my G6 doesn't have. Does the G8 have more/different patches? Or is there a reason to why my G6 doesn't have the same patches as the G8? Hope someone can clarify this with me!

G8 has the same content as the G6. It just has a great weighted keyboard (and much more weight to carry...)

That's incredibly strange. I would need great help, because in that G8 YouTube video, half of the patches shown on the screen I don't even have on my G6. Could someone please help?

Oh my bad. The video was showing live presets, not patches. Sorry! :D
