Activating the pedal and reverb

Post by jasihn »

I understand about 1% of how this beast works, but I know enough to have fun with it at this point.

I'm struggling with some presents that don't work with the sustain pedal and seem dry without reverb. I've seen where these can be added, but they sometimes just don't work.

Specifically, I play with the 80's Prog Jam sound a lot and would like it to work with the sustain pedal and have some reverb. I'm fine if it's applied globally. I can literally slide the reverb knob up and hear nothing change.

Thanks!

hit the EFFECTS/ROUTING button and you will see your current FX structure.. reverb may be turned off, or you may have no reverb send, or no reverb return...

which specific preset number are you having issues with?..

Thanks. All I've done is take the 80s Prog Jam preset and saved it in the user bank so I could play with it. I'll try your suggestion tonight and let reply if still having issues.

In Live Sets, the Sustain (called Hold) on/off can be controlled in a couple of ways. First check the part's Hold parameter by pressing F3 Part View, and select MIDI Rx Filter. Also check the Controll Setting by selecting F4 Control, then Ctrl Switch. The parts checked in the Hold column are enabled.
