G7 Editor and Librarian

Post by gospelone »

Can't seem to be able to sync my G7 with the Sound Editor librarian. Coonected by USB the computer sees the G7 as a drive, ready to play audio files, however the Editor does not.

I cna't figure out how to get pass the Midi set up message and the midi set up drop box does not see the G7 so I cannot set the G7 as either input or output

What am I doing wrong?
Any advice?

Hi gospelone,
Your G7 USB is set to STORAGE, you have to set it to MIDI

That makes sense but can you tell me where is that perimeter located?

I don't see an option for storage or midi I only see storage, what am I missing?

Oops...I was wrong, that is true for the Fantom X.

Anyway, pages 281-283 of the owner's manual show how to use STORAGE mode.

MIDI should be enabled if the drivers are correctly installed. Try to uninstall and then reinstall the Drivers again.
