It would be best to contact your airline carrier. I think the G6 will be too large as carry on luggage but don't take that as official.

Is it under 20 kg in total? With a hard case, I am not sure it is. In the factory box, it is surely under 20 kg - I think 18 or something like that.

it's about 26 kilo's...the airline allows 23 kilo's....can i somehow talk the person at the desk into not charging me extra?? lol and do i need to tell them to be super careful with my child or would they already know??...like put some fragile stickers on it n stuff?

They will not know nor will they possibly care. Put the fragile stickers on it and insure it!

Perhaps it would be cheaper and safer to FedEx/DHL it to your new location.

I've travelled a lot with an X6, most of the time I wasn't charged extra for the over-weight. When I was, I could usually convince them to drop it quite easily.
Some airlines have a musical instrument policy, they charge you something like 12$ for an instrument and the weight doesn't matter.
Oh and you can cover it with 2000 fragile stickers and it won't help, the luggage handlers will still toss it around like a basketball. But if you have a good case the keyboard will be fine
