How can I change my default patches.. Help.
How can I turn my default patches to the preset patch settings, rather than the user patches settings when i turn on my roland fantom g. Please help...

Re: How can I change my default patches.. Help.
select the patch you want and hit system write in the system menu
Re: How can I change my default patches.. Help.
it wont work. after saving it at the systmen menu, I turned off my roland and turned it on, still the "RPS ROCK SET" appears on the user bank. What I wanted to do was to set the default Bank in the live set to the preset bank "SYSTEM G", and the single bank to "G Grand" as my default settings when I turn on my FANTOM G. CAn it be done? please help...
Re: How can I change my default patches.. Help.
When you go to the bank at the upper left hand on the screen and then right click it the default settings is on the "0 -USER", How can I change the default setting to "1- Preset" . So whenever I turn on my fantom g, it would be on SYSTEM G default patch...
Re: How can I change my default patches.. Help.
That's EXACTLY what I would like to learn how to change as well.
Re: How can I change my default patches.. Help.
at 1.30 yes you can change the default from liveset, studio or single mode. But what I cant change is the default setting. Especially in livesets. The default is USER 001 RPS rockset, Which I wanted to change to different livesets... huhuhuh... I hope there's a way....

This has driven me absolutely bonkers for the last week as well. Surely there must be some way of doing it?

Something else to all you here posting about changing the default patch
This is what I wrote a few months ago.....
....last Patch memorized in SINGLE mode after switching to other modes like STUDIO or LIVE is not taken along with the new version.
And this is not seen as a "bug" because this wasn't reported in the manual......
Please come on!!!!
I'm a stage user so this could be very convenient playing live and have this available.
This can't be rocket science, right?
So Roland please......for the sake of all the live performance geeks, weirdos & neirdos.....please solve this issue.
I think a lot of FG-users will be happy.

Oh yes, that's another thing I've noticed as well!! When Tech Support ring me back this afternoon about all the other problems I'm encountering (dropped connection to PC, unable to map drives, the good old USB stick saga, unable to load SMFs, and many more) I'll let you know what they say.

yah, i have system setup to fire up on single mode and just hit save system after choosing the patch i like best to start on (piano).
when i first got the G8 i couldn't figure out why the hell it started up
on this hallo synth sound which scared the crap out of me since i was expecting the piano to sound when i pressed the keys.

@tunukie..
if you are still stressing over live mode coming up with rps rock set when you really want this to be system G.. I do not know if you had joined the dots to realise the initial state is user 001..NOT rps rock set.
So you could simply move rps rock set away from user 001 and replace it with sytem G..
Like Kenchan I got my FG, fired it up then blasted my ears out by playing two handed chords... first time i have seen a board NOT initialise to a piano...lol.. I initialise to single mode and my fav. piano.

Hi, this works for me when I save my project again 'save project' with PR19 selected. Now when I boot my Fantom from USB it starts with PR19.
