Confused on global settings/live sets

Post by B3Fiend »

I am getting thoroughly confused what is happening with global settings when I create or save edits to a live set.

It seems that every time I save a live set, the slider levels, active pad, etc on OTHER live sets are also getting changed.

The other night, for example, I spent an hour before a gig srtting up a few live sets to change patches external modules. When I went to play my other live sets, I found that all of their slider values were sitting at 0, the pads I had pre-selected to be on had changed, and in some cases, the channel/part had changed.

I seriously doubt if the FanG was designed to wreck all my other live sets whenever I edit one of them.... this can't be the way its supposed to work - is it?

Hi B3Fiend

quoting the manual, pag. 289
If the system setting “Slider Assign Source” is “SYS,” the system setting will be used. If this is “TEMP,” the setting of the live set or studio set will be used
Most certainly you're using the SYS value.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am already using 'temp' for the slider value.
