I'm trying to load 220 wavs(171.7mb) into my G at once via usb memory stick but I keep getting the "Empty Sample" Error. It seems to stop loading after that. I have the 1 gig of ram installed and OS 1.20. I've gone through and checked each sample..I've even renamed them but it's still stopping. Furthermore, it stops at a different places each time. Has anyone had this problem?
FYI, I've used two separate usb flash drives..A 1gb Kingston Data Traveler and a 2gb Sony Microvault..same problem with both if that has something to do with it. Please Help!!!!
Edit: I fixed it...I reinstalled the OS and did a factory reset...
Edit 2: Well I imported the files...Now they won't save...this usb problem is crazy...I can't believe it...I don't know what else to do:(
Multiple wavs not importing
Re: Multiple wavs not importing
It seems there may be some incompatibility issues with both of your flash drives perhaps. You might want to try buying a flash drive that is listed in the topic thread HERE that has been reported to work with the Fantom G. You also probably want to look on page 3 and onward on the link because it wasn't until OS version 1.20 that the Fantom G could use flash drives larger than 2 GB in size. Flash drives are cheap and getting cheaper (even for the larger drives) so trying a new one shouldn't cost you too much and if it ends up still not working you could return the flash drive for a refund if need be. If the new one does not do the trick either, then it could be something on the Fantom G itself that is causing the problem and your Fantom G may need to be sent in for repair possibly.
Let us know of any update to your situation. Hopefully getting a USB flash drive from the "list" that you know works with the Fantom G will be your solution to saving and/or loading samples.

Re: Multiple wavs not importing
I use a pair of Cruzer Micro 1G. Backup your projects to your PC as well. I also use a USB extension cable so I don't mess up my USB port on my Fantom.
Re: Multiple wavs not importing
Accent on file names or strange caracters Fantom is unable to handle then and gives this message too.
