Sustain Peadal
Sustain Peadal
When I record a track and press down the sustain pedal it captures the 64(hold) 127 ON state for the correct channel.
When I release the sustain pedal it captures the 64(hold) 0
for ALL 16 channels. see the editor microscope.
That does not seem like a normal function.
As tracks are added that use the sustain pedal it effects previously recorded tracks.
Even after a system reload and OS upgrade to 1.10.

Do you mean channel or track it's not the same.If I record on channel 3 say I open the microscope and see inofrmation related to channel 1.
A track can contain information sent to all the 16 channels in the form of a phrase.
Also, someone said in an early post, that if you don't activate the switch for a specific layer, midi will be sent to all the channels.

Re: Sustain Peadal
I have have somewhat similar problems with pitch wheel, and other cc events. When I apply them on track 1 phase 1, (midi channel 1) they appear in track 3 phase 3 midi ch 3 as well! It seems to happen every once in a while, and the only work araound I have found is to manually erase them from track 3. This might have something to do with the fantom confusing the exp events with the int events. One other thing, this ONLY happens on track and phrase 1. Don't know if this helps, but it is my experience so far.

Hi Guys' it sounds to me like you have one or more channels keyboard switch turned on. Make sure they are all off or you will get performance data from the tracks for which the switch is turned on.
1.Press [STUDIO].
2.Press [F6 ].
3.Use [CURSOR] to move the cursor to the “Keyboard Sw”
field, and press [Dec] to turn the keyboard switch off.

Physican Heal thyself
That wasn't that.
I found that under [Studio] - [EXTERNAL] the Keyboard SW was turned on for external track 1.
Just for fun I did a system reset to see if that was a default.
guess what that IS a system default that dern Keyboard SW on the number one external track is on.....
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
Now for that dang sustain pedal
