Any hope of a G Rack ... rumors, sightings?

I'm not sure what the point would be ... other than LIVE mode ... Actually, I think a new Sonic Cell with "live mode" would be a better idea ...

If it's like the XR, it won't have a sequencer, which is where many of the "upgrades" with the Fan-G went (other than the control surface, which obviously won't transfer either) ... the sampling section hasn't really changed so that won't be upgraded ...

Maybe its big selling point will be that it has ... SRX and ARX slots ...

The prices of the XR (Fantom X Rack) haven't really gone down much. I have a funny feeling that the G won't be coming out in a rack form anytime soon. Look at how long it took Yamaha to put out the Motif XS Rack!

If we do see a Fantom GR (G-Rack), it'll be the sound engine/sampler thing we saw with the XR, only likely with more processing power and likely ARX expansion slots.

Just guesses on my part, but based off of what we've seen in the past, this is where my money lies.

Unless they release a bunch of ARX cards- then they probably won't release it. Silly to release a unit that will house more cards than they have currently released.

Yes, it only make sense to have a rack if they are to come out with more arx which right now will be more helpful if they would have a organ arx and piano arx. "HOPEFULLY"
