Where is the Mark Set / Mark Clear Functions?
Where is the Mark Set / Mark Clear Functions?
Where is the Mark Set / Mark Clear Functions on the Fantom G? Without this function, you can't load/delete multiple samples. You can't quickly assign several samples to a multi-sampled patch.
Re: Where is the Mark Set / Mark Clear Functions?
I'm glad someone else realized this as a problem. I brought this up about a month ago after the update. It can be done but not very quickly like on the Fantom X.
Re: Where is the Mark Set / Mark Clear Functions?
I am surprised more people are not upset with this issue. Why would Roland remove this function? The Fantom X alllows you to use use MARK SET on a group of samples and automatically assign them to each key in a multisample. The Fantom G makes me assign one sample at a time to a multisample. After creating one multisample on the Fantom G, I don't want to work anymore.....
Since we are stuck with the way the Fantom G works now, is their a workaround that would make things easier?

Yeah, get on the horn and talk to the senior software programmers at Roland Japan and 'convince' them to give Fantom G owners (and future Fantom G owners) this necessary implementation that they mysteriously kept off the Fantom G while generously bestowing it on the previous 'older' model Fantom X.Since we are stuck with the way the Fantom G works now, is their a workaround that would make things easier?
That's the only workaround that I'm aware of.

I noticed too. This is a very serious issue that waste tons of time. It is like removing range select abilities out of a word processor.

Yes, really annoying. Hope Roland gives us a fix for this asap.
