Re: hip hop tracks produced on fantom g
En76 cheers, I am not certain which mics have been used on the orchestra, I think they used Neumanns.

youre a musician, not a comedienne...
3 hours of people playing out of date violins is boring and terrible... i dont care if Mozart wrote it... i can do it on my keyboard...
The Mona Lisa isnt anything different than a photo i took of my girlfriend on my digital camera...
sound like
i dont care how many people love hip hop, i dont so its wack...
have you sat in a session with Kanye West before??? Timbaland??? Missy Elliot??? could you do what they do??? and if so, why dont you??? can you be Jay-Z???
conversly, they cant be you... that doesnt make you wack... youre a musician, open your mind to the possibilities that others can make great music... otherwise tri-tones would still be considered sounds of the "devil"
still not man enough, huh kozLIKHA???

If you have worked with record labels recently then you must know that today's demos must be finished material pretty much. I made a comment on his demos, if they are just demos to show to his mates - fine, but if you say I have produced this music what do you think & come up with stuff that he put on Myspace, then either expect to get harsh opinions from people that work within the industry or get the vaseline out. Good thing is - there will always be choice.

hey kozhikode (in an indian language called malayalam, 'kozhi' means 'chicken' and its pronounced with a tongue twisting alphabet that kindof rhymes with 'L' but is represented as 'Z'; and 'kozhikode' is a place in kerala, india, where they have too many chickens - i know this from my friend who is from there):
anyway, i wanted to tell you that you are a miserable chicken...please GO OUT ... sitting in front of your computer and making fun of others - sociology proves that is the sign of loneliness. now RUN OUTSIDE and play a game, meet a girl, go jogging, go to the gym, do something, creep!

Listen Pavarotti, have a catuccino and relax, no need making assumptions that you know guys like me, I might not even be a guy.
Jerome's demos sound as if they were done on Casio SK-1, I expect much better results from Fantom G.
And what's with do re mi fa fa fa about being modest as a quality of a musician, how many great musos have you worked with, they are far from modest though some are. People that move up in this world are highly opinionated people that do not shy away when asked to say what they think. Modest musicians play in symphonic orchestras, they don't conduct the orchestra
It's you have to relax asshole and put your cappuccino where you know it weel, you really seems to act like Foleycore, it's just that you've changed argument. You're just smoke , SMOKE. Blah, blah, blah, blah.
Re: hip hop tracks produced on fantom g
what kind of lame posts on a board about a piece of gear he or she doesnt even own? are you serious? bwahahahaaha!!! what is your definition of "in the industry" ? i hope its not stapling flyers on telephone poles and fetching coffee because thats about all you seem capable of.

@phil
I commented on a demo done with FG. You should be more concerned with what you can do.
@Ramazotti
Try typing in Italiano, maybe then I'd understand, so far your posts are meaningless.
@Junogay
Let me tell you - kozlikha is a Russian word for a female goat. Now what? Don't take your anger on me son, not my problem you suck both at sociology & music. Don't be such a loser. I din't make fun of Jerome, I made a comment, he didn't want to ask why I said what I did. Have you never been criticized before? When you went to school with unfinished homework, did a teacher not tell you that you haven't done a god job? Music industry is changing fast. Equipment is getting better & cheaper, so record lables demand quality from demos. They don't want to listen to 'beats' which don't deliver a complete product & they don't want to listen to badly produced demos, UNLESS your songs are truly wonderful compositionally.

Re: hip hop tracks produced on fantom g
I think there is a little contradiction between "demos" and "complete product". Maybe you're not supposed to differentiate between the two, but I'm sure the producers are fully aware of this. Anyway, this conversation has no future.
Re: hip hop tracks produced on fantom g
'Making beats' is the biggest conspiracy to market equipment to people that can hardly play. The whole concept is wrapped around the idea that a person does not need musical education, nor skills, but he can still make music using 2 out of 10 fingers. To make that music that person has to buy A,B,C. Look at Youtube, it's full of wannabe so called producers that can only manage to come up with a 4 bar template & that's not enough to make it. Your work has to stand out, how it stands out is upto you to decide. Originality is key, a lot of people buy keyboards like FG to do the same thing, get the drums going, slap a bass groove on, some scratching & arps & bang on Youtube we go with an attitude worth a million bucks. But we love watching that stuff, it's great entertainment & FREE!
Above does not apply to truly talented people, that can make wonderful music with even 1 finger. Just wanted to make that clear.

Re: hip hop tracks produced on fantom g
again you ignorant freak,
i looked at youtube and the 4 bar templates sound better than anything you will EVER come up with.
put your foot where your mouth is - WALK YOUR TALK! is it so hard to understand, kiddo?
PS: one of the forum etiquettes is "IGNORE THE TROLL"....so we should collectiively ignore this troll and the twat will go away. from now, you are on auto-ignore, you get the iggy award!

@Junogay
I don't see any vulgarity coming out of my posts, just yours. What does sociology tell you about that pattern? Perhaps you ought to have a look in your crystal ball.

This thread went way out of the limits. I regret you guys have come this far. Insulting and attacking other members is NOT the way we do it here on the Clan.
