The exitement is back!

I really hope they continue the updates until this machine is perfect!

Definately need Global edit and the ability to splice phrases.

Thanks Roland!
At least now I can add some missing sounds with multisampling.
Undo is great too. Favorite Play sounds cool.

I wonder if we will still need to use a 3rd party program with the multisampling?

Toomaaaa!!! (don't know how to translate it)

Very good news, undo, bpm calc...still weak editor and the lack of arpeggio editing capabilities, a keyboard region with automatic phrase transposing according to the chord you play would be fantastic.

Please tell me they added the ability to copy/paste/delete all tracks. This is the single most important thing hindering me now even more than not having undo

Hi Oliver,

Those updates sound great.

Concerning live performance:
If possible to address via an OS update, The G series really needs the ability to route 2 insert EFX in series in both Patch and Live Modes. As it is, you can't setup a distored B3 into a controllable leslie effect. The only way to accomplish this (currently) is to go into Studio Mode... and use RPS and SysEx. Thus, you lose the glitch-free patch changes of Live mode. Also, it's a bit awkward to try and control leslie speed with the pads. If you could pass this along to the powers that be... those using the G series to play gigs would certainly appreciate it. :)
Thanks!!

I'm more than happy with a timing which I can regard as a serious effort towards making the G an absloute top board.

Frankly, I had not expected the first major update so soon. Quinnx, I guess if they keep that pace, we can be confident they will work seriously on the sequencer next.

I did expect it to be this quick because it was obvious the board just was released in a condition not suitable for the pro/semi market, there where obvious omissions
biggest one multisample

Now as i stated before, how soon we got this update and how significant it was going to be would be a clear indicator as to how committed roland really was to this board.

from what i can see above they seem commited.
