I just purchased a Micro BR - the first hurdle as I've seen so many other people fight with is that you can't find the recommended SD Cards.
Want to report that I bought a SanDisk SDSDB-1024-AW11. This is the low-priced 1 GB card from SanDisk. It works great! I've recorded several tracks, cycled the machine on and off several times, read from the Micro on the computer - it seems that if you spend the least amount of money on a 1GB card, you have the best chance of success.
Roland should really update their list - it sucks that they publish a restricted list of cards, and none of them are in production at this time!!!
I LOVE THIS MACHINE!

Re: WORKING SD CARD FOR MICRO BR!
Thanks for that.
I'm trying to maintain a list of working cards at http://microrecorders.org/community/gen ... d-cards/0/. Will add your model to the list, thanks.
