Pardon guys, for interrupting here but it seems there are more experts on this topic than any other and I seriously need help from you guys....

You are all familiar with the topic so I'll ask you about it even though there are many other like it, well explained and detailed, but I will ask you again because mine is not a fantom nor Juno-G but rather a Juno-D and the instructions provided below do not apply to my keyboard because it doesn't have F1 routing, netiher SRC. Please, can anybody help, I've been working at it talking to people for last 2 days without success. How can I get the performance mode to sound exactly as the patch mode sounds on Roland Juno-D?



3.1 How do I make a patch in a performance sound the same as when I play it in patch mode?

When you assign a patch to a performance part, it's effects settings are not loaded by default - instead, performance's effects settings are used. To make the performance load the effects settings from that patch:

See which part number you assigned this patch to
Press [EFFECTS]
Press F1 [Routing]
Route this patch to an MFX unit not occupied by other parts
Set the MFX SRC parameter for the corresponding MFX unit to the part number of this patch

I don't think many people have the Juno-D around here... I have a Juno-G, but I'll try to help you.
What I think is that you have to do the same thing described for the Fantom, just you can't simply follow the steps but you have to find out how to reproduce them in the Juno-D studying the manual.
In performance mode, in the Fantom/Juno-G you have to choose which parts should have the same effect of the original patch and assign an mfx to that part, telling the mfx to use the effect parameters from that patch.
For example, let's say that you have 16 parts with 16 patches assigned. Of course, only a limited number will have the same effect of the original patch, depending on how many mfx units the Juno-D has. On the Juno-G, you have 3 mfx units, so only 3 patches in a performance will have the same effect of the original patch (or another effect that you choose for that part). The other patches will either use the shared reverb/chours or use the mfx defined for another part.
So, basically the previous instructions mean:
1) choose the part that should sound as the original patch
2) assign one of the free mfx units to that part
3) set the mfx units so that it uses the parameters from the original patch
I think you just have to study the manual and find out how to perform these steps on the Juno-D.
