- RD-700 NX has all the features that some guys have been claiming for !!!
- GAIA Composer looks powerful
- FP-7F (for the ones who like this kind of Pianos), looks and sound great
- OCTA-CAPTURE - a renewed and packed with new features UA-101 follow-up
- Juno Di - A Kind of Hybrid JUNO-G / Di - looks promising
- No FG goods

Time to go to bed now...

RD700 is getting all the attention. FG is just not interesting anymore to them.

I'm taking a different approach on this. Instead of moving forwards, I'm going backwards. What I mean is that I'm going to start buying older, but better equipment. For example, Yamaha is coming out with the Motif XF. I thought about getting the XS6, but even at $1800, I really couldn't afford it, so I just got a Motif ES6 and from what I understand, it's a solid proven workstation. I was looking at a V-Synth. I thought about the Virus KC. Eventually I'm going to get a Triton Studio, Classic, or Rack. See the pattern here!

I'm tired of seeing these cheaply made keyboards with 3 different versions of the same thing. Roland with the Juno D, Juno G, Juno Stage, Juno Di, Juno Gi, GIJoe, and so on. Korg with the Micro X, X50, PS60, Microstation, etc. Give me a break!

I looked at the Roland Connect 2010 thing tonight and I just shook my head.

Time to go back folks!

oh man- I sold my Sonic Cell but still have feelings for all you G owners. I honestly thought there would be something cool but another fizzle. I feel sorry for you guys- what a let down. How can anyone still hold out hope - after awhile the same song gets a little boring.
Good luck all you positive thinkers!

javaj,

I currently have my Fantom G6 up on Craigslist. No bites though, even at $1400 dollars!

very very sad......The thing I sold on is the Supernatural idea and I love the three ARX which I though they are moving in the right direction.....but just to kind of bis in your face all together is just freaking sad. What is the difference with this RD700NX. Ok I see, PH III great. I guess sales too.

I think Art is correct....I may be getting a Macbook Pro sooner than later and all the softsynths I can afford... ;-)

I don't know, I still have the X, G, V-Synth GT, Motif Rack, etc.
Hmmm...Maybe I should get to know them a little better like Quinnx has telling us to do. ;-)

MAKE MUSIC People!!!!

I still like my Fanom G Piano sounds, however...

My latest little Piano Ditty....

en76,
Me too. I chose the Fantom G over the XS because of the expansion capability. I guess I struck out there. Another RD version? I just don't get it!

Madahorn,

Nice setup of synths there. Your probably correct when you say that we should get to know our synths better. The problem that I'm facing right now is that I'm using my G like a rompler and many of the sounds have a lot to be desired. I'm not too crazy about the live sets either.

How then do we obtain sales record and so ford between RD700 VS FG. Maybe this way we can see what the future of our beloved FG going. Seems all three maxed out as far as synth goes but again that data will be helpful I guess so we can I guess finally move on and avoid such announcements that seems to go back wards.
