MC-808 is on the "D" List

Hello, all.

just wanted to get your take on what this could mean for the future of GrooveBoxes (i.e., what do you think they will come up with next, etc).

I was informed that the MC-808 is on a "D" list (which means discontinued).

This actually scared me, as I have just bought my unit a couple of weeks ago.

But this may be old news for some of you.

i just wanted to get your opinion on this.

Some people are still happy with their 307 or 505.

Your happiness should not depend on any ABC or D lists. If you're satisfied with the machine - use it, if not - sell it and find something more inspiring.

Oh yeah - I agree totally with you.

But that is not what I was asking.

I was just interested in what you think Roland may be doing next - if anything.

I doubt there will be anymore Grooveboxes from any companies, now we've got Reason, Live, etc.

IMHO, the MC-808 was the worst one Roland ever made,MC-909 the best!
