Hey everyone..
I'm starting to get the MC-808 to know quite well, I've practised a lot with it, but I still have one silly problem! It's quite simple to descibe actually: I don't know how to delete a pattern completely from the list of patterns, so that the slot will return to the "Empty" name.
The manual only descibes how to delete parts of patterns/measures, it doesn't describe how to delete the pattern completely from the memory. I have the same problem with the patches in the Patch list. If I've created a patch or pattern and saved it in an Empty or Init slot I don't know how to remove it again.
Can anybody help me out?
Thanks for people who helped me getting started with my MC-808 until now!
Peace

You should be able to hit shift and then the button for initialize pattern.

Thanks for the reply! But I don't understand.. I must delete the sources by hitting [SHIFT]+Pad 3? When I do that it deletes everything in the pattern but the pattern name is still the same and the fader positions are still there. It doesn't return to the state it was from the start, an empty slot called "Empty", ready to start a new pattern. If I e.g. called a pattern "Drums 2" it deleted everything in the pattern but it remains "Drums 2" and the effects/fader positions are still there.
I was hoping that there was a way to just delete the pattern "file" completely with one button or something.

You need to initialize it I think, not just delete. Its a different button.

Thanks a lot!! That works!! I didn't know it was called "Initializing" when you reset a pattern. That was why I couldn't find the answer anywhere (my first Groovebox)
Thanks for helping me out!!
