Hey guys. I'm getting into the MC808 after using the MC303 for ages. One of my favorite features of the 303 was the ability to change velocity and gate time of each note by simply pressing the top buttons. It was a very fast and easy way of inputting this data while building patterns in step mode and TR-Rec mode. Is there a way of doing this in the 808? I've been unable to figure this one out myself (it seems the answer is no).

okay, I know how to do that. you just press shift+rec and you go into microscope mode. Then you can see velocity and gate values displayed on the led screen. use the cursor to toggle between them and the value dial to adjust.
