V-Synth v2 display isn't working, help needed.

My (original v2) V-Synth's screen is not responding to touch anymore, it had 2 brief episodes of this recently, went back to normal by itself a day later and now it seams to be unresponsive for good. Any suggestions?
I've seen a thread here (i beleive) about V-Synth XT screen replacement, would it be the same for V-Synth v2?
Is it fixable?

Wow, nothing?? Nobody had this problem?
If I need to replace the display, what's the part(model) name to look for?

The V-synth service manual (to be found somewhere on this forum, uploaded by a valued member) has two numbers: (I don't know which one to use)
03121112 DISPLAY ESCT
72230178 LCD ASSY
Note: Replacement LCD ASSY should be made on a unit base.

Please read the full discussion. You will see around the 11th post that fzero wrote
"LCD reference is : KCG057QV1DB - G00 - 52 - 24 - 6 It's the same LCD for V Synth, v Synth GT, roland G 70, roland E 80 ... " ... and many other valuable comments.
