Let me know if I got this right:
When powering up, the V-Synth will always load data from its internal memory (internal.prj, whatever that may be programmed with, i.e. either default factory or user-changed) into the WORK AREA space. If an external project is loaded into the WORK AREA space from the PC Card, then upon the next power up, the project loaded from the PC Card is lost. In other words, upon the next restart the V-Synth will again load the WORK AREA space with its internal memory and the project contained within.
And...if the Last Set button is enabled (and saved) in the System Com Master menu, then only the last PATCH used will be loaded upon the next power up. Therefore, after the V-Synth powers up and is done loading patches/waves, then only that one patch will be different in the WORK AREA space in relation to the rest of the loaded project.
So do I have it right? Kind of confusing and it has thrown me for a loop every time. It would have been nice to just have the synth load whatever PROJECT was used last, with it remembering WHERE it got it from.
Question: Power Up Internal vs. PC Card Projects

Hmpf. I guess the anti-spam tactics didn't work, guys!
Re: Question: Power Up Internal vs. PC Card Projects
When You powerup the v-synth with the flash card, it loads the latest project from the CARD!
When You remove it, it will load the internal.prj from the memory.
So, make or load projects from the card and the latest will be loaded next time again.

Re: Question: Power Up Internal vs. PC Card Projects
I'm not entirely sure how this works but I have a thumb drive that I leave in my v-synth all the time. It has multiple projects on it but there is an INI file in the root directory that tells the v-synth which project to load. The INI is named "V-Synth GT Project.ini" and its contents are:
[current project]
drive="USB Memory"
path="MySounds.prj\"
I can't remember what makes the v-synth load projects from the thumb drive versus the internal memory.
