Importing multisamples

Post by soundray »

Hi guys,
I have sampled the Elka Synthex and I have a sample for each key. Is there a way to import, let's say, five octaves of Synthex samples onto the V-Synth, so that each key on the V-Synth plays each of the individual Synthex samples?

The V-Synth was not designed for multisamples, so the answer is no. You could do it via keyboard zones, though, you have 16 of them that you can split, but that will take time.

Art, can I use 16 zones with just one OSC using 16 different PCM waveforms? Or the 16 zones will have to be devided in the 4 OSC with 1 PCM per OSC?

I don't even have it in my hands... but I'm curious! =)

Read pages 88 and 89 from the owner manual and you will find explanation. There are some videos made by Jim Stout. One of them is about ZONES. It can also help you!

Take a look to This Thread also, as it contains information about Zones and can be helpful.

Take care
