Substitute for the D-BEAM on the V-Synth GT

..hello people!

I've decided to "downtrade" my V-synth GT to a V-Synth XT and the only thing that keeps me holdin on to my GT is the D-BEAM, wich i just love.

Is it possible to use another Roland Product wich has the D-BEAM i.e SH-201 or SP-404 or something similar to control exactly the same parameter assigned in the v-synth?

I guess it would have to send the rigth sysex or will plain MIDI -CC work.

Many thanx in advance // Max

P.S Anyone up for trading + Cash...? I live in Sweden.

Yes, on all Roland I've used D-Beam sends MIDI CC messages. These can easily be assigned to any OSC/COSM parameters in V-Synth's Matrix Control screen.

Would you consider trading your GT for a VSynth XT + a Juno?

How much cash? I may be interested. I also have the external D-50 controller that was made for the D-50 but also controls the V-synth XT perfectly. In addition, I have a 1 gig PC memory card. All are in mint condition and I have all of the original packaging for the XT. I should mention I am in the US in Florida as this may affect your decision. Please email me for pics at markwalkerjratmacdotcom. Replace the appropriate stuff in the email...

This is so ironic. I just upgraded from an XT to a GT.

Anyway.. back to the topic at hand.
