Dimming screen?

Hi fellow V-Synth owners - hope everyone is having a nice weekend.

I seem to be noticing a bit of a frightening development happening to my V-Synth. Upon powering it up every day, I've noticed that the touch screen has been starting up somewhat dimmer lately; eventually growing brighter as it seems to "warm up". I also seem to recall the screen being brighter in general last year.

I know my model is an ex floor model and I got it for a very fair price, but I'd like to ask any other users a question. Has anyone else experienced what I've described? How long does the luminosity of these types of screens last? I'm a little nervous and the machine is still under a year's warranty, but that'll be ending in a couple of months. Should I go on and take her back for service?

The manual indicates that the screen may be brighter or dimmer depending on temperature (this is generally the case with LCDs).
