Demo sounds nice, good work.

Your might need a different web host then geocities though. They have a low bandwidth policy. Maybe use putfile.com or similar media sites with a link from your geocities page. Convert to mp3 first though.

If you want to get rid of that geocities thing, you can cut it out of your html coding- did you just copy your old code over? Or do you like that there?

BTW I do not think these days it's hard to get a normal hosting package - even here in Ukraine you can get 50 MB web space with e-mail, PHP, mySQL and free top-level domain for just $30 a year (that all is on a powerful server in US ;-)).

Still shopping around, this is only a temp site, having one designed, hopefully ready soon, gave you a link. Been so busy working on various projects, but I will have to give it a bit more thought and time. Is it doing the job? thanks for all the advice, well back to the V Synth!!

Thanks, are the sounds hard enough for you? I get the vibe that you are a bit of an industrialist, i have an EII library which is fairly hard, not many sounds though, maybe post it as a freebee.

Yeah those are pretty nasty sounding, I can use them in both hardstep dnb and industrial stuff perfectly. I think you had a different patch up on your old site, that really reminded me of some pretty hate machine era nine inch nails. I'll be purchasing the bank pretty soon here- just gotta find someone with a credit card to give money to. My buddy has a V as well so I'll send him to the way of your sight too. it's awesome- I thought that the kits were going to be very cheasy, but they are pretty fathfull. I can't wait to hear some of the fairlight CMI kits. Is this old recordings from the synth software on that computer or do you still have a working unit. I have friend who used to use trackers on one.

Yeah, it's all the real stuff, Fairlight IIx is dead, but library was transferred into my series III, I've got thousands of sounds, many famous. My proper site will be ready for launching soon, depends on success of this. I'm calling it V-Sounds, I will have a section where i'm going to get users to contribute to a massive user bank, which will be available free for every one to download, and yes a V-Tribe will get a massive plug, such a cool site and a great bunch of guys. I have been programming for many years now, 1984...eek and have had a go or owned a vast range of gear, which I have sampled, you should hear my Mirage stuff...nasty.
bye for now

Hi Gerald, I went to check the site. I can see it, but the link to the demo won't play - it says unrecognised format. I am on Mac OSX with Media Player installed. Thanks

Hey Maceasy
I'm on osX also and mediaplayer just won't work, the only solution that works for me is Virtual PC. You should try that if you can.
