V-Synth XT patches

Post by Rogles »

I've been thinking about getting a V-Synth XT and I have a question. I read that the V-Synth XT comes with a different set of patches than the original V-Synth v1.0. I hear that the version 2 patches are better but there are still a few good ones in version 1 (there were a couple I heard that I liked) I was just wondering if it's possible to get the V-Synth version 1 patches for the V-Synth XT.

Just curious. No biggy.

yeah- you can get the old patches, just come here when you get your V and I'm sure one of the guys can hook you up with the wave set.

Ok- I don't want to be one of those forum dorks that are all like "omgz dudzorz- like use teh search function !!!!!11" but this topic has come up a million times-

So I'm going to link to a page were I know cromio has been collecting a few addies lately so that they can get the old patches into their new synths....

Like I said- one of these threads needs a sticky.

Um yea...I saw that thread already, he hasnt posted in that thread sine Oct, 05. Didnt know if he has been on lately. So I was hoping anyone else who he had already sent the files to can send them my way. I'll post in that thread anyway.

I doubt Art will sticky this as he is worried about the copyright issues.

Thanks

By giving the waves only to V-Synth users Cromio is not doing anything illegal, that is for sure. But why we won't post them here is because then anyone even without a V-Synth would read these files and that would be an infringement of Roland copyrights.

I'm around...

You know hi-tech,
I don't have to post anything
I simply reply to those who ask me to
(but you will have noticed that by now, I guess...)

I only post if I feel I have something interesting to say
or if I think I know the answer to a question, and no one better qualified answers it

unfortunately I don't have much time to play around with my amazing V, as I am involved in other various very demanding projects
never the less, I still lurk around, read all the news and try to keep up with all that is happening

enjoy your V-Synth and never let go of this fantastic Tribe

all the best to all of you
I'll be back!

"I doubt Art will sticky this as he is worried about the copyright issues"...

I understand the whole phenominon of getting sued over stupid shit, but I don't see the trouble in pinning a thread were users can simply leave behind a place to contact them or an email address...

Thats true a sticky would make it easier for new users, but Art has a point.

Yea Cromio, I realized that by now, I do the same on both fantomized and v-tribe.info Well if you could send it that would be great.

Thanks again.

I have recently bought a V-synth v2.00, but having heard the sounds on a v1.5 earlier I would love to have the project with patches and waves. Please send an email to
larseric at frisurf.no

Thank you
