User waveforms as carrier ?
User waveforms as carrier ?
Imported waves are available as modulators, but they do not show up in the carrier oscillator waves. The manual implies that user waves can be used as carrier oscillators, but I can't figure out how to do it. Is it possible? Also, what does Marking a file in the Wave import section do ?

good question
hi bbach
I'm not able to give you a perfect answer, but i think you should put your user wave on osc 2.
by enabling FM-Mod in the MOD-Tab you should be able to modulate OSC1 with the frequenzies of your user wave...
I hope Artemio can give us both a perfect answer....
have fun
bye

oooh....Now I see, this post is related to "VC2" and not to V-Synth itself.
So my answer is just bull****. I'm sorry!
Nice weekend to all!

Re: User waveforms as carrier ?
i've tried this also. It's not possible to use user waveforms as carrier in the vc2.

Re: User waveforms as carrier ?
I must admit there certainly is something wrong with VC-2. When I had a chance to work with XT for a couple days, I tried importing a waveform, that worked but it didn't appear in the carriers list. I guess I gotta dig the manual, but this is weird anyways.
