ou mean like a zippering sound? Cause if that's what you are talking about, I have posted a thread asking for a fix on this too... I think that roland used low bit rates for the knob controlls that causes the problem (when you turn the knob with bigger incruments of bit rate it gives a more stepped sound rather than something that would give you smaller less obvious sounding changes), because when I automate this or use another controller (bcr2000 or the joystick) it doesn't sound anywhere near as bad... which means that if what I think is true, then this isn't a fixable problem with the software, it's just cheap engineering for an expensive product.

thx anti pulse for your reply...u mean its a roland hardware problem...?not fix on software...right?..and when u mean use another controller(joystick), do u mean the pitchbend knob???..and i think u understand my first question,...when i increment any higher level pitch knob it sounds like that stepped rate semitone scale!!..so we can do nothing...right?

I can't really be absolutly sure what I'm saying is right, so don't hold me to anything, but I don't think it can really be fixed via software- but I could be totaly wrong. Yeah- another controller like an external controller (like another keyboard) as well as things that are on the v synth that use a higher bitrate like the pitchbend joystick...
