XT freeze

Post by sb1 »

Just to note that I had my XT lock up for the first time during use of VC2.
Not really making too much of this and probably a one off as have had many hours of use without any problem whatsoever.

I guess there are very occasional circumstances in software where a cpu halt is a possible outcome. Tried to replicate the same conditions but couldn't get another freeze.
Not ideal, possibly to be resolved in a future o/s update hopefully. Worth publicising for that reason alone.

i found a particular sample that crashes my v-synth everytime i preview it. no matter what the status of my memory is. i removed it from my compact flash card and removed any traces of the sample from my computer-- burned the files on to a disk and burned it as a sacrificial offering to the vari-phrase Gods.
