Arpeggiator not working on XT

im in agreement with u here Zinoff...this is what i've discovered and what Roland tech support failed to mention to me.
but i must also add that the only way i've been able to send beat clock from the computer has been thru the USB (midi) connection.

USB midi connection for beat clock +
physical midi input for playing the notes=
arpeggios in sync with session

Same here, can't use the arp through the USB connection, only through midi in. Doh!

Hi! I tried out syncing my V-synth kb at work with Live 5, OS X 10.3.8, Powerbook G4 and Korg MicroKontrol. The really weird thing in my opinion is that everything but the arpeggiator plays in sync; effects, beat loops, stepmodulator etc works just fine. But when I try to play an arpeggiated patch from the MicroKontrol it doesn╢t happen! I have to press the keys on the V-synth to get the arpeggiated pattern playing! Does anyone else find this strange - I mean, everything else plays perfectly in sync with Live (from the MicroKontrol), but not the arp....
