Anyone want to Trade a V kbd for V XT??? W/VC Cards!

Post by esbium »

All,

I have a V-synth that I bought last year around september and love it but I hardly use it partly because I don't have room for it. Does anyone here want to trade their XT for a keyboard V-Synth??
I will throw in the VC-1 and VC-2 cards to make the deal even!!!

Let me know!!

BTW, Prefer someone around Portland, OR but will ship in US!

Hey we are almost neighbors, I'm out in the Gorge, and I too don't play my V-synth.

Maybe its the weather or something?

In what condition is the board, control surfaces, keys etc? Does it have the latest OS?
Cheers,

Hi Septimo,
Not sure. I know you have the XT as well. So, tell me what advantages would keeping the XT have?
Cheers,
Eric

My V is in perfect shape. It has been sitting on my keyboard stand since the day I bought it. I have used it but without the dust, it looks brand new. I can send pictures if you send me your email address.

It does have the latest 2.0 OS. Board, Control Surfaces, Keys are all in perfect condition. If you are considering the trade, I would expect the XT to be in excellent shape as well!

Hi esbium,
It's brand new and loaded with a full set of D50 User Banks. I need to think this over. My email address is doubleejprojects@yahoo.ca

Does the V-synth have both the V-Card slot and a PC-Card slot? If so, does the PC-Card slot require the adaptor as in the XT?

Cheers,
Eric

I think the advantages are equal in both situations...what puzzles me is how could u spend so much on a machine, make it u're own, then say " hey. I'll trade u yours for mine.." with someone (no offense to the poster) u don't even know, hmmm....and don't know the history of the machine u're gettin or if it's been opened up and messed with, the condition it's in,, everything comes to my mind...(too much stress for me). then to send it thru the mail in good faith..??..AWW the hell with all that. I'll keep my XT. I mean if we were talkin about baseball cards or comic books then sure I'm all for it...but when it comes to 2K bucks u should stay on your side of the court, and I stay in mine...I don't know, maybe that's just me though....good luck with u're desicion I hope it's the right one for u.

Hi Septimo,
Without a doubt, I do carry those cautions as well. That's why I said I need to think further on this. I have quite a few keyboards including an old M8000 Kawai 88 keyboard controller which still beats the shit out of most of the new controllers. It wasn't a well know piece of kit, but it is truly still very much alive and in pristine shape.

In addition, I have the FS which currently drives my XT. It's a good marriage. I haven't tried my Karma yet, but that should be an interesting experiment. So, I'm not without keys.

As I begin to become more familiar with XT's interface, I can see better how to navigate without all the knobs and dials that I would be lusting for in the V-synth version.

Thanks for your input. I thought you would have something to say about it.
Cheers,
Eric

I don't have an XT to trade, but I am looking to buy a v synth. If you want to do a cash sale, let me know.
