Want to try and re-create a V-synth patch

Post by Plisken »

Hey guys. There are V-Synth patchs from the Jordan Rudess download that I really want to try and make on my other synths. Problem is I dont have a V-Synth anymore =(, and dont know anyone that has one that I can borrow.

So I was wondering if anyone here can help me out? Just list all the parameters of the patches. They are called JR ScreamFbk and JR Smoove Ld.

Thank you

I think both patches use a feedback oscillator, and you'll need it in order to make it sound like these patches.

I won't have all the work to do this… I can record a demonstration of the sound and you can try on your own.

Cheers!

Yeah I know they use a feedback osc. It shouldnt be a problem. These 2 sounds I will make on a Korg Kronos. Im pretty sure I will be able to make the feedback osc on it.

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you won't… I've done a research and I know that there's nothing like it in the Kronos.
Anyway, I'll make the audio for you. (no samples, just a demonstration)

Screaming Fbbk
OSC1: SuperSaw > Comb
OSC2: Feedback > LPF 12dB
FX: Stereo Delay > Chorus > Hall Reverb (in series)

Smoove Ld
OSC1: Sine > TB Filter (just the LPF of it)
FX: Stereo Delay > Chorus > Hall Reverb (in series)

I've recorded the audio and I'm going to send it to you in PM.

Cheers!
