Great group of patches! It's certainly encouraging that there's still some activity from Roland for the (as far as I know) discontinued V-Synth GT. Maybe there's still hope for that midi delay bug firmware fix... I live in hope... :-)

How did you load these into your XT, Paulo? Most of these use both tones.

**How did you load these into your XT, Paulo? Most of these use both tones. **

I did it as I usually do, that is...

1- Open the Original GT project with V-Synth GT Librarian
2- Check for which Patches use Two tones (U/L) and which ones, and note that down.
3- Rename PATCH dir as PATCH1
4- Rename TONE dir as PATCH
5- Load the "converted" Project in V-Synth Librarian to check for how it looks like.
6- Load "new" project into the V-Synth /XT)
7- On the V-Synth, (on chosen Patches), and due to V-Synth's multimbral features, I can assign the U/L tones to different Parts/MIDI channels, and play them together by:
- assigning the same MIDI channel to both
or
- by simply controlling them from different MIDI controller outputs (each of my MIDI controllers have 2 independent channels that I can assign to anything...)

This is genius.

I already knew how to convert them for use on an XT/V2 but I had no idea that both patch layers were usable. I had always assumed that only the first level could be converted!

Hmmm... I tired this and seem to be getting an error.

I made note of the L/U pathces. Renamed Patches to Patches1 and renamed Tone to Patch. I didn't touch the Pallete, System, Template etc. files. Checked them out on the V Synth Library and the project opened, however when I imported them to the XT, after I load the project the patches are all empty. Did I goof somewhere along the way. Also once I do get this right, How do I switch the lower and upper tones to the same midi channel? Frgive me but I'm new to the XT. Thanks!
