V-Synth GT combined with MV-8800

Post by lyzantheris »

I'm working on putting together a small studio for electronic music production (Trance, Progressive, House). I'm getting a GT in the next couple of months and I was hoping someone had some knowledge on how useful it would be pairing it up with an MV-8800. I've heard very good things about both but I haven't had the time to audition the MV just yet.

Would this be a considerably good set-up for dance music creation?

MV-8800 would be the only hardware production studio I'd recommend instead of a Mac-based setup. The sound quality, ease of use and the available tools on this box are just amazing. I'd die to have it just for those modeled vintage Roland and Boss effects!

You can't go wrong with a V-Synth GT and MV-8800 combo.
The only other thing I would add to that would be a Fantom-XR.

Lyzantheris-

I use this setup now along with other units and it great. Your creative mind can go where-ever you take it. Like Jim said you can not go wrong.

I speaking from experience here.
