Hello i have a roland variOs and a little keyboard to play it.
I am thinking to buy the pg1000 , but i have one question.
Could I connect my variOs , keyboard and pg1000 all together ?
Because if i connect my keyboard to the Roland VariOs i use the only port midi , then how i could connect the pg1000?
Thank you and a greeting
VariOs and pg1000
Re: VariOs and pg1000
Use a MIDI merge box.
I think M-Audio still makes one.

Re: VariOs and pg1000
The PG1000 box is supposed to work with the D50 card if that's what you're asking. I've got a Peavey PC-1600x MIDI fader box. I loaded some D50 patches into it and it controls the D50 card in my XT seamlessly, so I would guess the PG1000 shoudl do the same.
plug the pg-1000 directly into the varios
the pg-1000 has midi ins & outs for connecting directly to a D-50. there's no reason why you couldn't run the pg-1000 directly into the varios to control the d-50 parameters. i have a pg-1000 and a varios + vc1, but haven't plugged them together myself because i really don't have any place to set down the pg-1000.
