V-Synth GT Compatability with V-Synth

Any updates on patch compatability between V-Synth 2.0 and the new GT?

Not yet, guess GT is still in the works. I think even if it doesn't include the OS 2.0 ROM waves it's going to be at least reading patches with your own waves and VA waves.

I would be happy with an all new ROM set with the possibility to load OS2.0 wavs...

GT manual is now online at www.roland.com! You can load V2.0 projects into the GT through a conversion process. Tre cool!

well thats one up on those silly bastards at korg who decided to make karma v2 not load v1 and the new m1 wopnt laod karma 2 . .and oasys karma wont load karma 2 or any of the patch libraries . . .thank god roland are awake on this point . . .

Well GT's engine inherits everything from the original V-Synth. If it was otherwise, I doubt Roland would provide a means to load older patches. It's just too hard to match parameters on a different engine.

You don't know what you're talking about. KARMA 2 is exactly the same in the OASYS as in the M3 (the M1 is not new having long since stopped production).
